Classically-trained tenor who is studying in Oxford on a Marshall Scholarship (40 students are chosen each year from the USA to study in Britain on this scheme which is funded by the British government as a “thank-you” to the USA for support in WWII). Graduated from Morehouse in 2003 in economics and maths. Gained an MPhil in Development studies at Oxford before beginning his current course. Would like to work in Development Policy but may also study at the Guildhall School of Music if he follows his voice coach’s wishes. Started rowing as a novice at his college in Oxford in 2004. Has previously trialled with OUBC but did not make the cut. Was a swimmer and diver at High School. Has twin younger sisters.
